For many, the Cyclades are synonymous with the Greek islands. This particular group is popular because of its charming villages and lovely beaches, ease of access from Athens and proximity of the islands to each other for easy island-hopping.

The Cycladic Islands are in the south Aegean Sea, south of Athens. The most famous are Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos and Paros.
